The Apéro Collection

I'm absolutely thrilled to finally unveil a collection that has been a labor of love over the past several months. Back in February, the incredible team at Anastasio Home approached me for a collaboration, sparking a creative journey that has brought me immense joy. As we delved into brainstorming, the concept took a sentimental turn, leading me to focus on enhancing the cherished tradition of apéro hour.

Apéro has always held a special place in my heart, a sacred time passed down from my parents to me. The daily ritual of coming together over a delightful spread after work became a tradition I carried with me into my own home. For us, apéro is more than just a pre-dinner ritual; it's an opportunity to unwind, connect, and savor the simple pleasures of life.

I remember vividly the clinking of ice cubes in my parents' glasses, the rich aroma of scotch, and the effervescent fizz of a Coke as we gathered for our daily apéro. Though I was too young for the stronger spirits, my parents graciously included me with a refreshing glass of Coke, marking the beginning of my appreciation for these shared moments.

The collection I present to you today is a reflection of those moments—carefully curated to elevate every aspect of apéro. Drawing inspiration from my personal routine, I envisioned pieces that would seamlessly integrate into the apéro experience. The process began with the creation of a chamber stick, designed to set the mood with the warm glow of a candle, a staple in my own evening ritual.

Next came the olive box, a harmonious fusion of design and functionality. Having always paired olives with apéro, I wanted a piece that effortlessly united the serving of olives and a designated space for pits. Then, considering the indispensable baguette in my apéro spread, I crafted a unique dish solely dedicated to its elegant presentation.

Adding to the ensemble are two bowls—one for dips, the other for crisps and crackers—completing the collection. The pièce de résistance had to be a thoughtfully designed charcuterie board, bringing together these six exquisite pieces into a cohesive whole.
