Sweet Vegan Crêpe
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oat milk
1 cup sparkling water
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup melted vegan butter
RECIPE
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, oat milk, maple syrup, and melted vegan butter all at once.
Whisk the ingredients together thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.
Gradually pour in the sparkling water, continuing to whisk until well incorporated. This step adds a light and airy texture to the batter.
Allow the batter to rest for about 15 minutes, allowing it to settle and develop its structure.
Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot surface, swirling it to cover the pan evenly.
Cook the crêpe for approximately 1-2 minutes or until the edges start to lift. Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Repeat the process with the remaining batter, stacking the finished crêpes on a plate.
Serve your sweet vegan crêpes with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruit, vegan chocolate spread, or a drizzle of maple syrup.
