Sweet Vegan Crêpe


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup oat milk

  • 1 cup sparkling water

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup melted vegan butter


RECIPE

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, oat milk, maple syrup, and melted vegan butter all at once.

  2. Whisk the ingredients together thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free batter forms.

  3. Gradually pour in the sparkling water, continuing to whisk until well incorporated. This step adds a light and airy texture to the batter.

  4. Allow the batter to rest for about 15 minutes, allowing it to settle and develop its structure.

  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot surface, swirling it to cover the pan evenly.

  6. Cook the crêpe for approximately 1-2 minutes or until the edges start to lift. Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden brown.

  7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, stacking the finished crêpes on a plate.

  8. Serve your sweet vegan crêpes with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruit, vegan chocolate spread, or a drizzle of maple syrup.
